About the course
What is Leadership in 12 Steps?
A leadership framework in twelve steps that takes you from honest self-knowledge to leadership that lasts over time. It is not a course you tick off, but a structured process you work your way through – step by step, at your own pace.
Who is the course for?
For you who want to develop as a leader – whether you lead a team, an organisation or mainly yourself. You do not need a manager’s title. The core is self-leadership, and those principles apply to anyone who wants to take responsibility and grow.
Do I have to be a manager to benefit from it?
No. Many of the steps are about self-knowledge, decisions and how you affect the people around you – valuable in any role. If you have staff responsibility you get extra tools for team and organisation, but the course stands on its own without it.
What makes this course different?
The depth and the honesty. It does not settle for inspiration – it combines theory, self-assessment, practice and real cases in every step, and it is built for you to return to. The aim is not that you finish, but that you change.
Structure and content
How is the course structured?
Twelve steps, grouped in three phases: first acknowledging reality, then acting with structure, and finally building leadership that lasts. Every step has the same four parts – theory and background, reflection and self-assessment, exercises and workshops, and cases and examples.
How much time do I need to set aside?
You go at your own pace. Many find that real change takes somewhere between six months and a year – not because the content is heavy, but because development needs time to settle. You can work intensively or take one step at a time.
Is the course theoretical or practical?
Both. Every step gives short, concrete theory – but the emphasis is on doing something: assessing yourself honestly, working through exercises and drawing lessons from real cases. Change happens in the doing.
Can I do the exercises alone, or do I need a team?
Most exercises you do on your own. A few are designed so they can also be run in a team or workshop if you want to involve others – but none requires it.
Which devices does the course work on?
The course runs in the browser and works on computer, tablet and phone. You log in and continue where you left off, whatever the device.
Purchase, price and access
Does it cost anything to start?
No. Steps 1–3 – the foundation – are completely free. You register, log in and can start straight away. If you then want to continue through the whole framework you unlock Steps 4–12. So you risk nothing to see whether the course is for you.
What is the difference between Steps 1–3 and Steps 4–12 – and where do I start?
Steps 1–3 lay the foundation – self-leadership, seeing reality as it is and separating the person from the role. Steps 4–12 build on to the complete framework: structure, decisions, follow-up and leadership that lasts over time. Start with the foundation, it is free, and continue when you feel ready.
What do Steps 4–12 cost and how do I pay?
Steps 4–12 are a one-off purchase of 1,995 SEK including VAT, which gives you access for 12 months. You pay securely by card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Link or Klarna (where available). No subscription, no hidden fees. Your bank converts the amount to your own currency.
What is included in the paid part?
Steps 4–12 with all four parts – theory, self-assessments, practical exercises and real cases – plus the e-book The Leadership Awakening (PDF and EPUB) and a workbook with downloadable worksheets. You keep the worksheets for your own use even after the access period has ended. (The free part, Steps 1–3, has simpler downloadable material.)
How long do I have access?
Steps 1–3 (free) are available as long as you have an account and the service is available. Steps 4–12 are available for 12 months from purchase. The PDF material you download is yours to keep for your own use.
Do I get access immediately after purchase?
Yes. When you buy Steps 4–12 you get access immediately after the purchase is completed and can start the moment the payment has gone through.
Do I get a certificate when I am done?
Yes – when you have completed Steps 4–12 you receive a certificate confirming that you have completed the framework.
Is there a right of withdrawal?
This applies to the purchase of Steps 4–12 and the e-book.
Yes – if you buy as a private individual you normally have a 14-day right of withdrawal for distance purchases under EU consumer law.
The course and the e-book are digital content that you get access to immediately. At checkout you actively tick a box consenting to delivery starting immediately, and acknowledge that there is then no right of withdrawal for the digital content. The full terms are in our Terms of Purchase.
Does the right of withdrawal apply if I buy through my company? No. The statutory right of withdrawal normally applies only to consumers, not to companies.
May I keep downloaded material?
Yes. The documents and templates you download are yours to keep and use for your own purposes even after your online access to the course has expired. You may not, however, distribute or sell the material without our permission.
Can I share the course with someone else?
No. The course is personal and access applies only to you or the user registered at purchase.
